2018: Delivery of the first pharmaceutical container unscrambler
CINFA posed a clear challenge from the outset: to optimize a filling line that worked with both glass and plastic containers, in an environment with very limited available space.
After analyzing the situation, Packfeeder proposed installing an inLine unscrasmbler for PET plastic containers. The key to this solution lay in its compact design, making it one of the machines with the smallest footprint on the market.
The proposal was quickly accepted by CINFA, and in 2018 the delivery and installation of the first machine took place, achieving improved operational efficiency without compromising the available space.
2022: New challenge with complex packaging and machine mobility
In 2022, CINFA once again entrusted Packfeeder with a new challenge. The conditions remained demanding:
- Very limited floor space
- Handling of complex PET plastic containers
- Need for flexibility to alternate with glass containers
The solution developed consisted of a machine with a special version on wheels, it was specifically designed for easy relocation. This allowed the unscrambler to be removed from the line when it was necessary to feed glass containers, providing enormous operational versatility.
That same year, the second bottle unscrambling unit was delivered, reinforcing the customer’s confidence in Packfeeder’s solutions.
2023: Integration with OEMs and high-speed production
In 2023, CINFA proposed a new project, this time in collaboration with an OEM manufacturer. The challenge was to incorporate a high-speed unscrambler capable of reaching the 120 bpm.
Packfeeder’s proposal was a unit from the inLine Series, specifically the model MINOR 150. A solution designed for demanding environments where speed and accuracy are critical. This container unscrambler is specifically designed for high-performance applications without compromising reliability or footprint.
The third machine was successfully delivered that same year, integrating seamlessly with the OEM’s filling line, demonstrating Packfeeder’s ability to adapt to multi-vendor environments.
2024: Pharmaceutical container unscrambler for nasal products
At the end of 2023, Packfeeder received a new request from a filling machine manufacturer. In this case, the customer explicitly stated that the solution should be a Packfeeder unscrambler, reflecting the high level of satisfaction achieved.
The project required:
- High speed up to 200 bpm.
- Handling of packaging for nasal products.
In 2024, the fourth machine was delivered, definitively reinforcing Packfeeder’s position as a technology partner for CINFA.
