Biplast, a Swiss manufacturer of plastic bottles, offers additional services such as labeling and sleeving to their customers. Packfeeder delivered a mechanical bottle unscrambler for 12 different formats to automate their production line. The key element of this project was to provide a simple yet high-performing technology that meets the high standards Biplast is accustomed to.
Moreover, given the high number of formats, the ease of changeover with Packfeeder’s system significantly optimized Biplast’s process.
Lastly, fitting the bottle unscrambler into an existing production floor posed a spatial challenge. Fortunately, this was easily overcome thanks to Packfeeder’s typically compact footprint.
